1) PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL STORES - During these hard times, one of the things you can do to help yourself, your local community (and us) is to shop locally. Spending money in Spokane results in the money staying in Spokane, and not going to some giant corporation somewhere else. And the more money spent locally, the more money that comes back to you and where you work. Please don't forget us locally owned stores this Holiday season.

With the messed up budgets of government anymore, there is an ever increasing demand for food and goods in Spokane. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. 3) NEW MERLYN'S HOURS - We are running our new fall/winter hours starting this week. We will be open 10am-6pm Sun, Mon, Tue
10am-9pm Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat.
We will stay open later for magic tournaments and special events. We will also be closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
4) L5R CCG TOURNAMENT: IMPERIAL SEAL - We will be running the L5R CCG Imperial seal tournament Saturday, 1pm, Nov 15th. This tournament will be purchase $10 of L5R, play and get an Imperial Seal deck for free. There will also be prizes for the winning players as well.
5) HEROCLIX: ARCHAM ASYLUM - We got in the latest set of Heroclix this week, and it's awesome. Boosters are $10.99 and if you buy a brick, you get an extra 10% off and get a special offer for a great Joker figure only available via mail. Get these soon because they are already sold out at the manufacturer.
6) MYSPACE FOR MERLYN'S - I don't know if you knew, but Merlyn's has a myspace page, and tons of our customers are on there. It's great fun to see who else is doing what. Feel free to add us to your friends page. We have a rotating front page, so you never know who will be listed as friends each time.

RPGA on the 18th |

For those interested in The RPGA game on the 18th, I am the one who is DMing the game. My name is Jim. This is, at the present time, set up to be a once a month meeting on Saturdays. If there is a large enough group who would prefer Sundays, I am up to doing that as well.

1) 24 HOUR COMIC BOOK DAY - We are going to run 24 hour comic book day again this Oct 18th starting at 10am. This event is a 24 hour comic creation event. Lots of fun, very rugged, and a great time to meet other comic creators. This is your one chance to participate in the northwest. Anyone that wants to hang out and create their own comic is welcome. This is a fun event, not a competition. Stay tuned for more details.
2) MAGIC: SHARDS - AND we will have the Magic: Shards set available for sale October 3rd, Friday morning at 9am. There are Boosters for $3.68 each, Tournament decks for $10.99 and Theme's for $11.99.

5) HEROCLIX NEW (ARKHAM ASYLUM) AND USED - We will have the new Heroclix set - Arkham Asylum - in Oct 22nd. This will be an awesome set with a special joker mail in figure if you buy a Brick. We also got a ton of new "used" figures from many different sets. Some start as low as 49 cents each.
