Hi, I am currently involved in a SWrpg game in which the group is getting far too involved in Hutt affairs..timeline is just after the fall of bespin, but before the start of episode 6. My group is owed favors by 2 different Hutt clans, but we are also implicated in the death of a 3rd( we blew him up with several thermal detonators). I would like to here any novel idea's in how to remove ourselves from Hutt notice, and believe me, nothing is too bizarre, our DIPLOMAT tossed the first 2 TD's before he had even said hello .

Fake your own deaths.

Deny and counter-accuse.

1. Cast suspicion on the Empire as taking "legal action" against the dead Hutt (Alderaan is a good example of the Empire's inability to use negotiation first before force)
2. Cast suspicion on either (or both) of the remaining Hutts (killing-off your competition is an accepted tactic, though not usually for Hutts)
3. Come up with some kind of believeable "It was an unfortunate accident" story

...and remind your "diplomat" that physical force is the LAST resort of diplomacy, not the first!
