How About A Painting Tourney? No gameplay involved...
Rules?

one week to paint...

we set up a time to meet (whoever wants to do this)
whoever meets is in, no late entrys

when we meet we buy a blister of our choice, it get noted (cheaters)

and then we have exactly seven days to finish that mini (painted/based)

everyone in the store at that time votes on a mini (numbers are assigned because names are hard to read)

we count the votes and awared the winned with something.. like another blister, or a meal at dicks.. whatever we decide..

you set a $15 entry fee.
each person gets a $10 blister of their choice.
the rest is prize money.

we both play 40k, but in my opinion any blister from any range could be chosen.

I'd love to do this. Once things are settled back into routine and I am setting up my next line of events, I will see if I can get this going.

This sounds like a very coool idea. I would say it would be anything on a single small base that comes in a blister. $5 entry fee, blister purchased and figure noted and purchased at any time over a two day period, say a Sunday and Monday and the figure is due back on Sunday, or a Friday and Saturday and due back by Friday. Something that allows for pick up and register on a week day and a week end day. And gives either a 6 or 7 day period depending on when you picked it up. Judging could take place by customers of the store on some sort of balet durring the following week.
