Evan, A regiment is 16-20 figs but some regiments for the Rebs started as large as 32 figs. What we have always done is pick a historical brigade and make it. So 3,4,5 Regiments to a Brigade, 2-4 Brigades to a Division. Artillery is 2-3 guns to a Battery and a Battery assigned to a Brigade. For the rebs, I have a North Carolina Brigade, A Virginia Brigade and a Georgia Brigade and a few independent regiments. Artillery is 12 napoleons and 10 pound parrots. 1-Battery of Horse artillery. Reb regiments end up smaller as the war goes on because they didn't dissolve regiments until they were basically wiped out. The union simply rolled regiments into other regiments as they took casualties. Thats why some regiments simply disappear from the union rosters. I have complete breakdowns of brgades at many of the major battles. So we can make you a historical force real easy. Stone wall Brigade of virginians, or Armsteads Brigade at gettsburg, or penders. Just remember cavalry was very seldom used, so a regiment or 2 is plenty. They are 12 to a regiment. So I can help you with your research, just tell me who or what you would like to create.

If we ever get a chance, Rally around the flag is alot of fun. Stonewall Jacksons Brigade has a Brigade of Virginians. I can show you the make up or I can e-mail you the make up and you can look at it. I suggest , making everything in the early war Brigades before the big losses took place. Uniforms are more colorful and unique. Lets strat with the Bull Run era or if your a reb The First Manassas. Same ground was fought over twice and the rebs won both times. As for rally, we changed a few things. Morale is not out of rally and the artillery was scaled back because it was to powerful. I will show you when I see you.

Evan, I made you a copy of Rally around the Flag.
First Battle of Bull Run
ARMY OF THE SHENANDOAH_Commander-Joseph E. Johnston
Jacksons Brigade
Colonel T.J.JACKSON-Commanding-Elite Brigade :320 Men/Company
2nd Virginia Regiment
4Th Virginia "
5Th Virginia "
27Th Virginia "
33rd Virginia "
Artillery Rockbridge Va. 6 pound Battery Attached
So to make this Brigade it would take 16X5= 80 Figures(16-Regiment)
Each stand is 4 figures. Command stand has a officer, Standard Bearer and Drummer. 15mm Reb flags are easy to buy.
Artillery is 2- 6 pounders 4 crew each and 2 limbers with 2 horses each
Everything else I can help you with. I don't know what you want to know so let me know what you need. Old Glory Figs are Fine. Minifigs are nice. Battle Honors are very nice. I have some of each, they mix well.
Also, Jeb Stuarts Black horse Cavalry was attached to this Army. We will game when I get back. Terry
