An easy way top think of Kaijudo is to think of it as "Magic Lite".

Duel Order is pretty easy:
1. UNTAP
2. DRAW
3. CHARGE MANA (Put one card from your hand into the "mana zone")
4. SUMMON & CAST
5. ATTACK
6. END YOUR TURN

Each pack comes with cards and a map. The map shows you the different zones you'll be playing on.

BATTLE ZONE: Where you summon creatures to fight for you.
SHIELD ZONE: Where you're protected from attacks
MANA ZONE: Cards in this zone let you summon creatures & cast spells.





During setup, shuffle your sdeck and put it on your playmat.
Then put 5 cards face down into your shield zone from the top of your deck. Now draw 5 cards, look at them. This will be your hand.




The 2 types of cards are CREATURES & SPELLS.
Each card has a LEVEL, which you gauge on how much MANA to use.
CIVILIZATION, which is either LIGHT, WATER, DARKNESS, FIRE or NATURE.
The CARD NAME like Frogzooka!
CREATURE TYPE.
STORY TEXT which tells a little about the card.
POWER. The higher the power, the stronger the creature.
