AEG Games is an excellent game company, most known for games like Thunderstone, Legends of the Five Rings, and the Isle of Dr. Necreaux (link > www.alderac.com/ ). In addition to those games, it also carries a number of light-hearted cartoony style board games that we have just got in here at Merlyn's.

Straw (2-6 players, 30 min playing time, ages 8 & up)
"The Final Straw? Or the one that broke the Camel's Back? You decide in this fast, furious, and fun card game of merchants and their wares. Straw is a light-hearted family game where players pack goods on top of the Camel. But, be careful! If your card breaks the Camel's back, you lose!"

Abandon Ship (3-7 players, 30 min playing time, ages 10 & up)
"The ship is sinking! The rats are up to their necks in water. They must get out quickly! But the route to the top deck is long and the water is rising. Even on the top deck, the rats have to watch out for the feet of the panicking passengers. Who will survive?"
This one is designed by Reiner Knizia, a recognizable name for those board game aficionados reading this.

Monkey Lab (2-4 players, 30 min playing time, ages 12 & up)
"As former lab monkeys, players cooperate and compete to free imprisoned monkeys from a well-guarded testing facility. Of course, since the monkeys don't have keys, they must use their creativity and the items found around the lab to pick, pry, and smash the cages open. The more monkeys you rescue, the more reward you receive."
