Our Italian friends at BadTaste claim to have confirmed information about the sequence, which will be found after the Iron Man 2 credits. For those of you who can’t read Italian, here is what they said:

A 100% trusted source (NOT from the production/distribution, but very familiar with the movie) confirmed us today that there will be an easter egg in IM2. It’s an extra scene, just like the one in the first movie, after the end credits. We are able to tell you what’s about! It’s a scene about… Captain America and Thor! Maybe this doesn’t seem a big reveal, but it’s nice to have a confirmation.

I’m sure Nick Fury must also be involved, although it is not stated. I think most everyone expects some kind of Captain America/Thor cameos in Iron Man 2, so this shouldn’t be a huge surprise.

But is it really possible for them to get Chris Evans in there as the Captain? Remember, he was only cast in the role a mere five days before the scheduled release of Iron Man 2. You never know…
