Hello,
I am a poor citizen of Spokane Valley, where there is not a single game store. I would like to get into 40k, but I don't have sufficient funds to do so.
I do however, have enough money to start buying a few minis and the supplies to paint them.
I was wondering if any kind soul would reccomend what miniatures to buy along with which paints and tools would be important. I hope to start on some basic spess mahreens.
Also, what day would be best to come in and watch the games going on, so I can get a little experience.
P.S. I am not a complete noob when it comes to the fluff.
P.P.S. How does the regulars discount thing work?
P.P.P.S.(Because I feel like it) I am also an Eastern student living off campus. I have heard of a 40k club, but have not seen a trace of it. Info?

I know Steve at Merlyn's is going to have a GWS 40K/Fantasy teaching/chatting/playing thing Wednesday nights from 5-9pm at Merlyn's. That would be a great time to meet new players and discuss/learn rules and all that. Come by some afternoon (or wednesday evening) and talk to Steve.

Hey I'm second in command to EWU gamers club as well as a veteran 40k player. If you are interested I can hook you up with info on everything you want/need to know about the club and 40k. If you already had an army in mind cool, if you didn't I can get you a codex to look at. I also have a couple armies in cheney if you wanted to try it out or have a walk through. Just PM me.
