Hmmm... I guess you get what you pay for. It was working fine last night, now every page seems to be down. I'll let you know if it gets better.

I'll get back to you on all that later. Rather than hosting it elsewhere, I'd talk to Ghostwheel first and see if whereever merlyns.biz is hosted would work.

www.godaddy.com
This is a great site for hosting that is hella cheap, I have used it before and had no troubles with them. Its $8 a year to reserve a domain name, and the cheapest server hosting is $4/month. I would be up for helping cover the costs if people were interested in going with it as it is crazy cheap.
This is the php supported list taken directly from their website:
We currently support these PHP 4 libraries:
* MySQL
* GD Image (with freetype)
* XML
* GetText (multi-languge support)
* Zip
Supported PHP 5 libraries include all of the above, except Zip, with the addition of MySQLi.
Does this help at all?

Yeah, $4/month is certainly reasonable. I figured free/month sounded pretty good, but if it only works half the time, it aint exactly worth it. However, it does seem to be back up at the moment if you want to try and add your team now, Matt. And anyone else! Who else plays BB and checks this board?

Also I can't like report games or anything is this something you need to do? and do we have to wait for all teams to be made before we can do so? |
Only the league commish(es) can add games. Each participant in the game will update with their own team's results and once both are reported, the commish can VERIFY it and it becomes official. Goofing around, I noticed that the commish can also report games, so if someone doesn't have web access or would rather not bother, the commish can take care of it for them.
I set up our Week 4 game of Revenge vs. Wyts just to take a look at it. I don't think it's a good idea to VERIFY it before we have all the previous games reported. You should be able to look at it. As commish I added a comment your team that you may want to change.
Matt, I'll do the same for our One Off game, so you can have a look at it. Of course, until you get your team entered, it wouldn't be able to see how you report how each player did in the game.
EDIT: I forgot, you can have multiple league admins, Mike, I'll set you up with one. I think it's easier to have a seperate account for coach and admin, so what login do you want for your admin account?

fe2mike
password the same as the other one is fine
Also, I couldnn't make my team like it is currently , but I assume that that was due to not have my previous games reported.

Yeah, we'll have to add all the previous games before we can do the current ones. I've added fe2mike as a league admin so you could add games, news, and league information. You can't add teams or coaches. Of course, you know all the passwords to the other coaches (unless they changed them which I encourage people to do if they plan to participate) so you can add their teams for them if you'd like.
To add games you go to "League Admin" then "Season One" you can enter games. But be careful, games are hard to delete once entered. I have to go into the database by hand to dig em out.

No, not a noob question. Skills will get updated as games are entered. Values unfortunately won't change because it's set up to be LRB 4.0 instead of the new rules. I might try to change it but... it won't be easy. We'll see.
Who was your first round opponent Jon?

Jon & Matt,
I see you played each other on week 1 so I've added your game. You should be able to update your game and add the stats from it. If you know who scored what TD or CAS, that'd be great, if not, just give it to someone who gets one eventually. The important thing is that when all your games are updated it is correct.
As for your one free skill, just let me know which guy gets it. You can't add it from the webpage but I can do it by hand in the database.

The DB Error: connection failed one? I get it every once and a while, but a refresh always seems to fix it.
