Tired of JUST playing Warhammer 40K or D&D? Looking for something to break up the monotony?
Well, don't forget the Merlyn's sells A LOT more than just the basic war games you can find anywhere. We carry stuff that makes people go, "Wha-? I've never heard of that.".
Well in case you're one of those people, here's 4 miniature games you may never have heard of.
INFINITY-
Infinity is a science fiction skirmish-level tabletop miniature wargame. Set about 175 years into the future, players of the game fight between opposing forces using 28 mm scale miniatures and a flexible order system, allowing involved gameplay for
both players regardless of whose turn it is.
It simulates combat in a science fiction environment with Manga aesthetics.

DARK AGE-
The world of Dark Age is a world of contradiction. Plasma rifles meet crossbows, laser torches meet horse-drawn plows, and future philosophy meets ancient religion. The inhabitants of our world all share one simple trait, the instinct for survival at any cost.
Dark Age is a fast paced, bloody skirmish game. Combat is strategic but intuitive and most definitely not for the faint-hearted with the edge normally given to aggressive play.

CONFRONTATION-
Confrontation is a tactical fantasy miniature wargaming in which the combatants are represented by metal figures in 28 mm scale. For comparison purposes, the system's figures are
slightly larger than those of Games Workshop.
The game is set in Aarklash, a world of medieval fantasy where knights, wizards, priests and barbarians fight each other as well as creatures like wolfen, elves, orcs, goblins and the undead. The entire world is at war and all are fighting for the supremacy of the continent.

ANIMA-
Based on the Anima: Beyond Fantasy roleplaying game setting, Anima: Tactics is a skirmish-level miniatures combat game that pits heroic characters against each other in the struggle between Light and Dark. The system uses 10-sided dice as well as character statcards and asset cards that provide new abilities for the characters.
Each player brings a party of heroes to the field of battle, choosing characters, equipment, and other advantages with total levels no more than the fixed value selected for the game (250 levels for a standard game).
Anima is a fantasy setting developed in Spain by Carlos B. GarcĂa Aparicio and Anima Project Studios. Anima was significantly inspired by Japanese roleplaying video games such as Final Fantasy and Suikoden, and features manga-like art, Eastern concepts of honor codes, mysticism and martial arts. Additionally, the world of Anima combines those elements with traditional Western fantasy ones, such as magic and medieval arms.
