In case there are some around who haven't yet heard, Walking Dead is a great zombie comic from Image written by Robert Kirkman (writer of Invincible and Astounding Wolf-Man). The comic has been ongoing now for years and has proved to be extremely popular.

We have a couple of Walking Dead items we wanted to let you in on:

1. Collections
We just cleared out a section on the shelves where we usually keep traditional novels for the Walking Dead hardcover and trade paperback collections. Come on in and check them out. When lined up with the covers facing forward, a continuous army of zombies lurches out to grab your attention (as well as your brains).

2. TV series premiere night
In October, on AMC, the television series based on the Walking Dead will be premiering. We are planning a Walking Dead night at the store, with zombie games and other fun stuff and then setting up a TV so we can all watch the TV adaptation of one of today's coolest comics. We don't yet know the date and time of the premiere, so we aren't locking details. More info will be coming.
