Surprisingly a city the size of Spokane doesn't have a large gamers base or something. So I was wondering who is actually looking for a Role Playing Game Group? I don't mean something that is a hack and slash dungeon crawl. I mean role playing, enjoying your character and playing him as he would in a situation not just some numbers who shoots and throw spells or something.

I just moved here and am looking for a group or looking to start one. Any game is OK - DnD, any old-school games, WH FRP, Pathfinder, GURPS, whatever.

Yes, yes, me too. I'm dying to play something. I've played Palladium stuff and DnD in the past. I wouldn't mind branching out and playing some new stuff though. I'm in college, so the best times for me would be either fridays or saturdays.

I'd be interested in possibly playing. How many people you got together right now? I've never played it before, but it sounds intriguing. I would only be able to play Fridays or Saturdays. Would that maybe work?

Currently I may have one other person. I have a great deal of experience g.m.ing for Shadowrun. We may need a minimum of 4 players though.

What edition are you gonna do? Any idea when we might be able to start?

I was planing to start with second edition at 2050 to get the basics down then gradualy work up to forth edition. Any weekend is good by me. I just think we may need more people. Do you know anyone else who is interested?

Unfortunately all my high school DnD buddies are no longer into roleplaying. Right now I don't know of anyone else that would be interested.

I'd be willing to try, though I only have a general familiarity with Shadowrun. Let me know.

I just got a buddy at work that would want to play. So between you two, Jayko's friend, anybody Ansalander knows, my self and my friend, we should have enough players. That's at least 4 right there! So let's get something started! So is it going to be Shadowrun then? I don't care what it is, I just want to play something! Between my friend and I, the best time that we would have available would be Saturdays. Would that mesh good with everyone else's schedule? Let me know so we can get something going here.

So is it going to be 2nd edition for sure then? I think I'm gonna head down to Merlyn's and see if they happen to have that book. If we have our first session at Merlyn's will that be ok, or do you have another place in mind? Can you think of anything that you would like me to bring? Ansalander, are you still with us?

I've not gamed at Merlyn's before. I don't see anything about open gaming on Saturdays. If we do start at 2, will that put us up against the Magic event at 6?
