I will be running a Classic Battletech game on July 11 starting at 11am. Players only need to bring pencils and dice, everything else will be provided.
The year is 3006 and the Lyran Commonwealth's policy of "concentrated weakness" is in full effect. The arguments against this strategy are hotly debated when the best argument is made against it from an unlikely source; The Free Worlds League.
Any questions feel free to e-mail me.

I will be in the store that day, mostly to work on my 'Ard Boyz army, if you all do not mind I would like to watch. ( I won't have my B-Tech stuff with me probably, I basically only have the Starter set anyways).

If you have 2 d6's and a pencil why not join us. All sheets and minis will be provided. We will also be playing the tech level of the box set.

Sounds good.
I will find room for my (badly painted) battletech units. In the car.

Can't say it any better then Spector did. Feel free to join us everything will be provided.
Also, don't forget Battletech is not WYSIWYG. As long as you have mech sheets, which in this case is provided, you can play.

Yay!!!
Sounds like fun. I do play the java online version of the game. So I do know the basic rules, I have only attempted the board version once or twice...to less than spectacular results.

The java came is pretty good and close. (I am guessing MegaMek?)
Everyone's first games are less than spectacular. Heck I have played thousands and still have quite a few less than spectacular outings. That's what makes it fun.

Also, the best way to learn is to play. Teck especially seems a bit overwhelming to new players but once you are actually playing it works much easier then you would think. And Spector and I both are here to help with any questions you might have.
