What are your current painting, modding projects going on?

My current one is a lance of 4th Lyran Guards. The mechs are a Zeus, Stalker, Awesome and a Banshee.

I'm working painting some plastic 'mechs. Namely A Cyclops, Catapult, and Enforcer. I'm either going to go with a Grey/Blue paint scheme or a Green/Grey paint scheme. With maybe a Hello Kitty Atlas sometime in the future.
Also, I got a lot of Super Sculpey so I'm working on my own minis!

The guards are kind of coming along. The tan I can take or leave and only have it on the Zeus right now. Pondering finishing the lance or doing the rest as Star League to go with my Bombardier...

I've painted up a few Minis and so far my last piece is my favorite; I painted my Awesome with a black, rad, and gold paint job. It turned out great! Except for a few parts where I bumped it with my paintbrush :(.
But still I love how it turned out Smile

I'm also REALLY considering a Hello Kitty Atlas... Maybe I'll do it for the next painting contest at Merlyns.

Also, what do you use for paints? I've found that the cheap .50-1.00 acrylics actually work great and are VERY cost effective.

Don't worry about the little mistakes, they fade with time.

I use the cheap Apple Barrel, Folk Art ones you get at craft stores and WalMart. They have their ups and downs (may have to thin as they run a bit thick), but work for the price.

I've been doing a lot of projects recently. With an order from Em4, I've gotten a couple of Sci-Fi squads, some 'Mechs, and tons of Spaceships.
I've also been sculpting and scratchbuilding! Cool

This is a sculpt of Sachiel, from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I plan to use him for Kaiju gaming. Not bad for a first timer like me!: img13.imageshack.us/im...02996b.jpg

A scratch-build Hovertank for my 25mm Sci-Fi armies. I really loved how it turned out!: img11.imageshack.us/im...002782.jpg

Looks great, though you need to brigten up the photos a bit more. Maybe a second light source?
