The Age of the Lotus has arrived, and with it has come a new edition. Invariably, this has led to renewed interest in Rokugan and the struggle for the throne.
I would really like to see a day set up for L5R fans new and old to come in and play. What works for you guys?

I'd be so excited to be able to actually have a day and time set up to come play with other L5R fans! I personally am new to the game, but it was love at first sight.
As for days/times, I believe we should try to pick a day that doesnt have much scheduled so as not to conflict to greatly with the scores schedules, and as for a time? Hmm in the evenings would be good for me personally.

I should add that I would be quite excited to see some open L5R action going on, as well. Eric and I busted out his collection and built some open decks just to goof around (I love Kitsu Tombs...) and it was a blast! I am sure that, even if they don't have the cards to comete with it, there are sure to be some newer players that would enjoy seeing THE Yoritomo or Oni Hida Yakamo out on the playing field.

Hey there I am looking at scheduleing something to get things going but my work schedule is in a tizzy right now, so I am waiting. As soon as I get an idea I will throw it up here. I have done bounty hunter stuff for AEG in the past at merlyns and will do so again in the future but before I will schedule anything I need to have a minimum 10 player base. That means 10 people that show up regularly not 4 people that show up all the time and 6 people that show up rarely (it has happened).
By the way I have been playing l5r for almost 9 years now, though I will only build decks and buy current stuff I will play against open decks.
If you have any questions just message me.

I am THERE. Just not on weekends... then I would be there, but not be able to play. And that would suck.

I should be able to make it for a bit at least...
And I don't play purple ponies. I play Dragon (and rats) and they can beat you even if they just use one hand.
Don't get me wrong... they will use both. But they could!

Well the meeting turnout was a little on the shy side for my tastes as I was hopeing for more than two people to show up. I will then assume that wednesday evenings are best for the tourney time and will set up one as soon as I am able. But fyi the Bounty Hunter system is currently on hold, do to some revisions going on, so any tourney ran for a bit will be unsanctioned.

if I do the tourneys on tuesdays which is the best for the most people, then I have to do it at 5 unless I can convince Jon to leave merlyns open untill the tourney is done, which at that point I will runthe tourneys at 6 till whenever.
