Alright, nobody wants to play this week? Who can play this week and on which days?

I can play either Thursday, Friday or Sunday.

hey thursday would be fine for me what about you i have my panzer grens done for the most part so if you would like to play i can make at 11 hope to see ya there.

Friday or Sunday at the moment.

Shoot,

just found out I have to take one of my daughters to a Doctor's appointement tomorrow.

Sorry, I can't make it now. Sunday is a maybe and Monday is now out as well as I will be going to two Dentist appointments, a real estate showing and other odds and ends.

Well,

My life moves fast and now Sunday is out. I just talked to Bill and he says he can play Tuesday.

Anyone else able to make it Tuesday. This may be last day for awhile as I will find out about a new house on Monday. So moving during the next month could put a hold on FoW and planning for a Tournament over Lavor Day Weekend.

Well that makes three of us so far. Bill's Americans and you and I for Tuesday.

I really want to go over assaulting infantry with tanks for you guys so you can be more confident when you face dug in infantry with your tanks.

2 panzergren platoons with half tracks 285 + panzernacker 5 =290 per platoon
1 hmg moterized platoon 165

Tank platoon 270

2 panzer III m's 25 per tank
1 panzer IV h 75 per tank

1 platoon of hummels 305

grand total 1495 i think

please give any ideas about the list

You love your Hummel's.

That will good in most cases but your Hummel's would get hammered the first time your opponent brought on air.

You would fair alright vs. most armies with that force. You have no way to drop smoke, so you could be in trouble vs. heavy tanks or units with long range.

Your hummels may bail you out but, we will see.

hey the hummels also get to fire smoke bombardments so i could use smoke if the need came but at the moment i havent been able to really use smoke as an advatage

Why would you smoke with Hummels? Thats the biggest waste of points I can think of. Why not just buy the HQ mortar Section and smoke with those? That makes sense.

Evan,

Believe it or not there are times in missions where smoke is more important than shooting. Learning to tell the difference and using it effectively is just another tactic that any good commander needs to learn.

The fact that Hummels get to fire smoke bombardments makes them almost worth the points they cost.
