We are down at Merlyn's every Sunday at approx 11 am - 2 pm on a pretty regular basis (i.e.- If Merlyn's ain't closed, I'm not dead, or tied to a hospital bed I'm there) to play the DDM Skirmish game. There are two of us currently that are there regularly to play. More players are certainly welcome. There are others playing intermittently. John has provided some incentives for us through the retailer's kits. the last one for Jan was the Epic Aspect of Lolth card. Keep your eyes open for the poster on the boards in back which has the date posted on it for when the goodies are available. if you've never played the game and are curious, feel free to drop by, I'm usually able to give a demo whenever. Or if you just collect, I always have my surplus with me for trading, there are occasionally others with trades as well.

Sanctioned DDM Tourney: The next one will be SUNDAY (edit: NOT Saturday, oops) the 9th of April and will start at 12:30 sharp with warband registration starting at 12:00. It will be 200 pt constructed assault (if anyone wants to know what that is, just pm me or e-mail me I can answer any questions). All participants will recieve an Epic Aspect of Nerull Card and a variant paint scheme mini (Warpriest of Moradin) while supplies last. Also the first place winner recieves a special effects template and a copy of the latest OP adventure mod out of Eberron.

Sounds interesting, i have 16 miniatures from booster packs for my D&D campaign but my friend bought the starter set for skirmishing so i got pumped up and added up my warband. It will increased but not for a while. I might be able to drop in later this week.

The next tourney will be 5/21/06. 12:00 p.m. on the dot. Warband registration starts at 11:30. This one will be 500 pt constructed assault.

Next event with goodies (this time is epic golden protector card, and variant paint scheme mini's) will be on Sun 7/16/06. We will be playing 500 pt limited. This mean you buy two boxes of WotDQ, and build a 500 pt warband from those with no Factional warband building restrictions. A few other allowances apply regarding creatures with the "requiresX" special ability, and others. Please contact the store with any more questions you may have, or I can be reached at 599-1969.
