You have to get it online. It is not available in the stores any longer. I have seen it as low as $5.00.

I will put it on the list of things to order, once I get my RW life back on track. Still trying to settle with the Insurance company about the accident in January. Then, we need to either buy a house or find a lease in the area we need to be at.

All of that in the next two months and get my 17 year old daughter her own car. Yippee! Plus I need a new truck.

But after thatt Close Combat is in the que.
Oh and I have been squeezing in FoW almost every Sunday without fail for a few months. Teaching new players, playing historical scenarios and such.

Smile

Chris, I have the First Three and I think they are the best, but I still have net yet played Normandy. I heard it is more like an expansion compared to the other games.

But the First three are old, and I can probably Burn you those games. My friend has a really powerfull burner, and we burned Baulders Gate 2... Good Game.

Evan,

thanks for the offer, but I will find it online. If it is worth having, then it is worth buying. My favorite FPS of all times went the way of the DoDo when there were over a million people playing online, but only 80,000 copies actually sold. I bought 5 of those copies. So when I find a good game, I make sure to buy it.

I don't mind trying it out for free, but if I like it. I have to own it. Otherwise the programmers and developers will get the axe and the great game they gave me will never see a decent expansion or sequel.

Okay, you can easily find a demo download, I suggest downloading it and trying it.

I have played the first three and gave them away. I just need a copy of the Normandy version.

Look at my links on the FOW Washington Forum. I gave links to where you could be every Old Close Combat Game ever made. But the company was baught off by matrix games, and they remade the third one with better A.I, New Campaigns, New Maps, Better Scenario Maker, A little better Graphics, etc...

Don't get Invasion Normany for Invasion Normandy. Your getting it to play one of the absolutly outstanding Mods for it.

The AI is so stupid that you can set every variable in favor of the computer player and have only 5 platoons to the AI players 15 and you will still win every battle.

I really really really want to play a human player.

Oh, and the copy protection is also so good I have tried many time to create a copy of it and failed. There are also not any No-CD cracks for it that work either.

However, once you have the Mod installed you no longer need the CD. You just need it for the initial install.
