Toying with the lists some more I came up with this:

TOTAL: 1500 points, yippee 70 lt. tanks for 1500 points with the wave
rule. How would a German player handle that?

BT/5 stats: Armor 0/0/1 co-ax, light tank(16" move on roads or cross country), limited vision, unreliable
45mm gun rof 2 range 24", AT 7, FP 4+

T26/32 stats: Armor 1/1/1 Dual MG, Limited Vision, Slow Tank, Unreliable
3.7mm ps1 gun rof 2, AT 3, FP 4+

11 tanks with 45mm gun and 59 with the little 3.7mm ps1 gun. But
there are enough small lt. tanks that some of them would get the
inevitable flank shot on their German counterparts side armor of 1. Plus this is a rolling horde of MG's with 11x3 + 59x4 MG shots for 269 MG shots in one turn. OMG! that is a lot of bullets.

The ultimate Lt. Tank Horde army. I must now buy this beast just to
see it in play. Of course it is fragile in that if you lose any of
the Battalions, the entire horde must roll 4+ to stay on the board.
But with the Wave rule, the odds say I will get at least 3 more tank
companies during a game maybe more if I am lucky. Even with H&C, this
beast is nasty.

I don't have to assault the infantry, just root them out with the
dreaded ps-1, rof 2 range 16" AT3 but FP4+(huge when digging out
infantry).

Sure I may lose 30+ tanks every battle. So what, I am russian and I
can afford to lose them. Besides I would hold back a company from
each of the secondary battalions until needed. Coming in true waves
at the Germans. Using the BT-5's as the hammer and shooting from
range with massed tanks against my enemy.

Can't wait to try this force and see if it is actually stoppable with
a German force. I am thinking as a German I need 4 quad flakvierlings
as a deterrent vs. this force as well as lots of rof3 AT guns and
tanks and AA.

EW will be very interesting to say the least. I want to show up to
a 1500 point EW tournament with that force and watch my opponents cry.

Chris, I think it would be fun and interesting to play this. I would just need to use some of your german stuff, I got the infantry and stuff in play. I may be able to play this sunday if you are up for it.

I don't have 70 Soviet light tanks, besides I found a problem with the list historically.

The pdf's list the T26/32 with the two MG turrets and the ps1 3.7mm, but that was the T26/31. The T26/32 had a single MG turret and a turret with the 3.7mm ps2 gun that is also on the BT-2.

A much better gun, so I will have to work with the brain trust and change the pdf's to show the difference and to cost the difference.

My first battle on Sunday will be with Bill fighting in Afrika against his US troops. Then I will play against whomever wants to play.

Chris, Just heard from Craig at Gamdls that my early war tanks are on the way. Hope they look good. I will probably be in Oklahoma when they arrive. I will let you know what they look like as soon as I see them.
