We have fun playing there, even when Terry isn't there. So, Richard, Bill and I will be there Sunday at 10 a.m.
Evan, is Jeremiah going to get out of FoW altogether? If so, one of the guys that visited the store last Sunday. The man you were helping might want to buy a few things from Jeremiah.
Myself as well and maybe Bill. That way at least Jeremiah's stuff will still get some use at least as a force we can loan new players until they buy their own.

I plan on playing a few skirmishes 1000 points of less with Bill and anyone else that shows up. MW Afrika and Italy. I want to go over ideas and tactics with the new players.
Helping them, helps me become a better player. The more times I push pieces around on the table the better I get.

I am going to be there Sunday from 10-2 then go home and pickup my wife and drive her to someplace in Spokane and drop her off. Then I will be back at Merlyn's again to play some more until she calls me.

Well,
I got to Merlyn's this morning and Bill and I setup a Hold the Line Mission with Bill's US Armored Rifles defending against my German Panzers.
We used about 1800 points. I fielded priority ME-109's with cannons and Bill fielded 4 T28 MGMC AA. He shot down all but two flights of my birds and the two flights that got thru only had a single plane left. I killed 1 priest with them. Almost worth their points.
Bill took the win as his platoon of M4 Shermans and his lone 57mm AT gun(upgraded 37mm in the AI platoon) won the medals. That 57mm AT gun crew got the MOH. The Shermans merely some bronze stars. That lone rof3 AT gun took out two full platoons on its own of armored cars.
I had to bring up 4 pz4's to finally kill that gun. By the end of turn 6 I had finally penetrated his half of the board so the game could go on. But, he had killed three of my platoons and I had only killed one of his. Next platoon I lost and the game was over.
I had a 2 car platoon of 222's and 3 pzP3Jlate's, 2 pz3Jearly(CO and 2ic) and only 3 pz4's left when we called the game. He had 3 priests, 1 57mm AT gun and 4 MGMC's, Engineers dug in on one objective and 2 platoons of AI dug in on the other objectives with lots of bazooka's left.
In the end, I made the right choice and pulled back and accepted my reassignment to Russia graciously. As my poor handling of my force in Tunisia allowed the US to poor thru Kasserine Pass.
Great game Bill. We had a couple of visitors that have bought Afrika and now have copies of the little rulebook. Bill and I took time and talked thru how each turn worked. Made the game last longer but the watchers enjoyed it very much.
I had to leave early, but as I left Bill and Richard were getting ready to play a battle of FFA. Richards Ostfront pzgrens with Hummel support and a Tiger vs. Bill's armored infantry.
Thanks again John and everyone else for letting us play there today. It was a lot of fun. Oh and don't bring armored cars to a medium tank fight.
