I have not heard back from Mike Perry or Bill Nolan yet. Both are US players.

Another thought. Isn't the 19th a holiday. Monday the 19th, I think is presidents day. It would be easy to play that day with less competition for the tables. Thoughts?

Terry, that sounds really good. I am having my birthday party that weekend on saturday-sunday. So I should be able to play monday. I will ask my parents later.

I have a quick question, how are 10mm miniatures? I can buy 100 of them from old glory at warweb for only 12 bucks!

Evan the 10mm figures are pretty good. Go to the GHQ web site and look at there 10 mm figs, not bad. also minifigs has a 10mm line that is pretty good. So between the 3 companies you can get a pretty good selection in most eras. Alot cheaper just small. Great for big actions with large regiments.

I doubt I will be switching scales anytime soon. To much work, only reason to switch would be if everyone else did. But, since Merlyn's doesn't carry 10mm, I think I will put that off for awhile.

A very long time ago I had a huge collection of Micro Armor. But gave that to a friend that was into it more than me. Same thing happened to most of my 40K stuff and Nappies. Move, lose the group you played with. They just become paper weights. part of the reason I chose FoW. Because it appears to be sticking around and finding opponents is not as difficult as some miniatures games.

Oh, I wanted to buy some napolianic miniatures in 15mm, but I wanted to have 8 men to a base, so I want to buy 10mm and get some french and british, I would love to paint them, and My dad LOVES the napolianic period. So it is just to add to my collection of minis.

Just heard back from Bill, he and his friend Ben are interested in showing up and playing possibly. Bill is heading out for his weekend warrior stuff so I will hear back from him on Monday.

He has roughly 1800+ points of US armor with some armored infantry and engineers and some 57mm AT guns.

All,
My name is Bill and I have 3000pts (give or take 100) to field. I hear the date is 19 Feb and I am interested. I will have a confirmation if I can make it this Tuesday. I might have a friend who will join on my units. The expected force is American Armor / Mech Inf (Africa/Scicily).

Bill, Sounds good, let me know, then I will get your E-mail address and orders will be coming your way. That would put Evan and Chris on the German side. Some interesting variables for this scenario, especially for the US. This will be a challenging scenario. Historical date of scenario to follow. It will let the cat out of the bag. Or turn the big cats loose?

Ok, I have everything worked up. This scenario works with 4 or even better, 6 people. Ultimately, 3 german players and 3 allied players. would be perfect on a 12 foot table or 18 foot table, 18 would be perfect. Allied need to be 2 us and 1 Brit. I know we probably can't get 6 but it would be great. 4 people will work and I would be happy with that. 5 could also be worked out also. So let me know on developments.

Terry,

Which time frame are we speaking about? I have lots of German stuff and Evan does too. Between us and what you have, I think we have the German gear covered. But it would help to know the time frame and even real units that were involved so I can get some oob's or the KtSn's.

Chris, Ok, The scenario is between 1942-1944. Yes, Mid war. For now thats enough. This all depends on number of people to who or what, you will have and be. Terry
