I'd like official word from Mike or anyone else "in the know" as to whether this league is officially over or simply suffering from a significant stall. If the latter, are there plans to proactively revive it or will it simply be ignored and be a de facto defunct league?

If I don't see any response to this by say, the 2nd of Jan., I'll assume the league is dead and stop checking here.

NOTE: Tone is difficult to portray in text. I don't mean to sound bitter because the truth is that I am not. I just want to know if I should continue to bother checking here for updates.

Hey Graham,
Sorry to say that it appears to have lost its interest fromn most, I can't speak for everyone but Adam and I have been pretty busy lately with the holidays, work, and families/homes. Also, I'm sure Sean has been busy with the new baby.

So without interest being shown from others (your the first to ask about anything bloodbowl since before Thanksgiving that I know of) I have kinda just been waiting to hear what you guys want.

I am going to keep my rosters ready, and hopefully be able to get some free time over the next couple of monthes.

If everyone else would like I can and will keep making pairings for everyone.

Later, Mike

Whether the weekly pairings etc continue, I really love the online tracking system for teams we use.

I was wondering if you guys could make me an admin on the game tracking site so I and others could continue to play games that would 'count' on some level. I would approve games as they came in with some frequency.

We may not be in an active league now, but it would be nice to occassionally get together with someone in the league to play a game and build a team that would be available next time we do something official. I know at least Dana and I get BB cravings and it would be more fun if the games meant more than just killing time.

Let me know what you think.

Hey All,
As Mike said, I've been pretty busy with the new baby. Theodore spent the first month of his life in the hospital and while he's fine now, he still requires a ton of attention. In fact, I'm wiping up his drool as I type this. I may still be able to play if people are willing to come to me at my house, but I'd be by myself with Theodore and I can't promise you that he'll be good. He might very well be in a foul mood and you'd have to suffer through a lot crying, and Blood Bowl may be a lot of fun, but I don't want to put anyone through that.

Ordrek, if you still want to be an admin, let me know.

-Sean

Oddly enough, I decided to check back here for the first time in a month...

I'd love to admin if only for the purpose of approving new teams and approving games.

I'm thinking we may just want to call off the whole upper division/lower division thing and play open games for the time being. Later on when we all have more time we can get back into the structured league bit.

P.S. - If you ever want to play with the new baby around, I'm good with that. I have two kids myslef and I know how it goes. Have 'fun' with the new dad gig=) (fun in some ways, hell in others)

You're a system admin and league admin now. System admin means you can change skills around and start new leagues. League admin means you can add teams or something.

As for getting a game together, I'd love to but Theodore will probably cry. I'd feel bad if I had to take a 20 minute break to change him and get him calmed down. You know how it is, sometimes I get lucky and can play a few games online, sometimes he screams.

Thanks Shawn! I don't know how to use any of it, but I'll find time to check it out. If I find myself in a pickle and think I may mess something up, I'll call you.

If you ever do find yourself wanting to play, just let me know. I can find a time where I'm not in a rush and we can play a movie or something in the background for the downtime... that or I could even bring my homework...ugh.

I figure I'll start a brand new DE team for pick up games if anyone is interested. The main thing I want is a place for people to keep track of 'official' league teams while being able to play simple pick up games when they have time. Maybe only Dana and I will take much advantage of this, but it will be available for anyone else.

If you play a game and need me to enter it, email me at grahamleestone<at>yahoo.com (Funny <at> to foil text parsers and prevent spam to my email).
