Hello. My name is Rich. I've been out of D&D for a while and recently was introduced again to it. I have been reading all the changes in editions 3 and 3.5 and the game seems to have improved so much that I can't wait to try it.

The few gamers in town I know, however, all are too busy to get together and play. I was wondering if any groups were open for new players in the 3.5 format. I have my own books and campaign settings and all, just need some other people who are into it for the fun.

I prefer smaller groups (4-6 players) and also prefer to play instead of DM, tho I can do both. Please let me know.

Oops, forgot to mention that my fiancee is also intersted in playing. She's new, but enjoys playing.

Kelvore, a new group is just forming, and we're planning to meet every other Sunday afternoon, starting on the 26th. The first "session" will involve meeting/character creation or acceptance, etc, and will take place at Merlyn's at 4 pm. After that, we'll be moving to a private location (probably sharing among those willing to open their homes).

Let me know if you're interested....or just show up.

As it stands right now, I have one definite showing up, plus another likely to show, barring employment. The two of you bring that total to four (plus me, of course), so I think this is getting to be about the right size. I wouldn't go more than two more than this, personally...

Well, of the other two people, one said he might not make it, and didn't. The other one showed up, and we built his character within a matter of minutes (he had prepped ahead of time...).

I'd recommend getting together sometime in the next two weeks to setup your characters; if you can, please email me, so that we can get this taken care of.

OH! If you email me, put "D&D" in the Subject Line, so I don't accidentally delete it....
