I'd like to play today if possible, but can usually make time most days with advance notice. I can play anywhere in the spokane area, and am willing to travel or have guests at my place in the valley. Merlyn's itself works fine for me too.
See you around,
Graham

I have the day off from work, so I'm trying to get together a board game day at my house. Perhaps I could start it out (or finish it) with a game of Blood Bowl? However, I don't own the basic set, so you'd have to provide one if we were to play at my house.

I have the basic set so no problems there. Let me know when your game night is and I'd be happy to fill in some of your time with BB games=)
Ahh... LM. My first love among BB teams. Unfortunately I found them to be heartbreakers in the long run and gave them up for extended leagues. The choosing your MVP will help you tremendously though (much like it will for me with BOBs).

I'm still working out the details on the Game Day/Night, but I'm sure we'll be able to work in a BB game even if the game day falls apart. I was thinking of starting at 12:00pm and just going until whenever, but it depends on what I hear from everybody else.
I started out with LM for PBEM and I haven't looked back. They're a pretty one dimensional team (run, Skink, run!) but that allows me to concentrate on one aspect of the game. However, my team is starting to develop a bit of a passing game. I'm looking forward to playing more with my Human team this year, getting a taste of a different style of play.

12:00 on what day(s)?
As to LM, I played them back in the day when Pile On added your strength score to av rolls, skinks had G access and there were no traits (dauntless and DP skinks ftw). It was a brutal team.
These days, I see LM as a soft team compared to others. The saurus have developement issues as is and take casualties on the LoS. Meanwhile skinks suck up all the SPPs and die like popcorn to a decent opponent. It makes for sad long term developement. These days I stick with higher av teams and prefer orcs and dark elves above all else.
If you like a high scoring game, I highly recommend High Elves. They can put some decent AV on the LoS and have a passing game nearly as good as Wood Elves. I do NOT recommend Wood Elves... the combination of high scoring + low av means you give up a lot of block on the LoS, which means dead expensive linos. At least the tree gives them some survivability, but it isn't much.

I'm still looking for games, especially for tonight. If someone wants to play (including my pairing opponent Ryan), give me a call.

Hey Matt,
I'll be happy to play some pick up games against you once my team catches up some (say, within 30tv). Until then I'd rather play teams my own speed (the other rooks).
I know Shawn sounded interested in playing his LM. You may want to give him a ring.

In other news, does anyone know how I can get in touch with Ryan for my scheduled game? I don't see any info for him on our league site.
If someone knows him, tell him to give me a call. My info is on the site.

I'd like to get a game in this Thursday evening (starting around 5:30pm) and maybe another on Friday sometime after 10:30am and be done before 5:00pm. I MIGHT have time on Saturday afternoon to play as well.
If anyone has a team near in rating to mine, look me up for a game. Short Bus Posse... currently around 125 TV (I think).
Again, Ryan or someone who knows him have him get in contact with me. I don't know how to reach him for our game and I won't have time to play this week outside of those times.
