Evan, Go to the flames of war page. Check out the Axis of attack mini campaign. Now the attack on Kiev with the weather rules could be alot of fun. See what you think. We have enough stuff where everyone could play german or russian and in bad weather infantry and defense would have the edge. Also gives some terrain ideas and I may have an old map of the area.

Chris, Thats not bad, just fewer Hunns to kill. We can do it for Mother Russia!!! We love wide tracks in bad weather.

Yeah,
But who wants to face the Soviet horde. KV 85's, SU 85's, SU 152's and priority Sturmovik's. Or worse, a whole horde of dug in Soviet Strelk with Gods of War in support.

Chris, You know you will do it for the Fuhrer and the FatherLand. "Not one step back" I know you will do your duty or my Gestapo will visit your family. Dachau, anyone!!!

Terry,
I may want to be the Horde. Depends on number of players we can get involved and what armies they have.

Chris, Going from Fatherland to Motherland. You could be shot for that!!! Yea, we will see who wants to do this after the Tourny. Could be fun to have several battles going that will effect the map. Then see what we have after a day of gaming.

To have fun you could set this up as a Battalion level game. With 'X' amount of Battalion assets and air available. Have three battles each phase. With overall commander assigning each table to a commander and that force. Overall commander also assigning Division assets such as arty/air/tanks/hvy AT guns/recon/pioneers etc. to each table. Each phase of the campaign roll the air dice to see which levels are available to your side. 1 plain means sporadic, 2 plains means limited and sporadic are available and 3 means priority/limited/sporadic available. That way the commander can assign each one to a battle, including assigning two if he wants to have intercept and tactical in the same battle.
You could really have some fun. Each player should make up two lists each. One for attack and one for defense. With the same basic combat and weapons platoons.
We will need to talk about this some more and see what we can come up with.

Chris, All this needs is a organiser. You want the Job? To get that involved someone has to lead. Otherwise make this a loose series of games that are reflected on the map.
