I play 2nd ed. ADnD. I am mostly a PC though I have crappily DMed a few times. I do have the DMG and such but power gamers crashed and burned my campaign.

2nd ed all the way. I actually DM more than I play, but I enjoy taking the other side of the screen every once in a while.

I'm a 2nd. Ed DM with alot of 1st Ed. supplimental material thrown in. More to the point, I'm a throwback of a sort. Everything I do is "Pre-Player's Option". It just got too much to deal with at that point.
Had a very active GU group some years ago, but then had to hang it up a bit. Ran a table at Game Faire 2k and it was well-received. . .though it went into overtime. No one seemed to mind though.

I dunno. I mean, don't get me wrong. I'd love to! In fact I'd really like to finally finish the adventure I worked so hard on for GameFaire. But with 3rd ed. it looks like I won't be able to find enough players for it.
And I just got the rules down to where they actally "work" for me and my oldskool friends. It's hard to decide which house rules to keep and which to toss. The point is, why would I then drop everything just to learn a whole new set of rules?
Scuse my blather. I'll def. keep you in mind.

Hey, just want to say, I'm new to the boards, so hi guys.
Back on topic, I'm a PC and I play 3.5E, I'm very new to D&D, me, my girlfriend and two of our friends are starting a little campaign, I have done PBP Role Playing before, so I have a slight insight on how to play.
Justin.

As I've spent probably too much of my money on it (mostly at Merlyn's, no less) I suppose I'd have to side with 3.5. The little I've read from the previous editions doesn't make as much sense to me... and I actually like the ruleset of 3.5
Granted, it's imperfect, but it was created by humans, not, say, wizards, don't you think?
Actually, though, my only reason for upgrading to 3.5 from 3.0 was Eberron. After reading some of the ECS, I wept, for it was that much better than my own homebrew. I promptly bought everything I needed to play that version of the game. (and DM. I could have bought a PSP with that money...)
But anyway, I enjoy PCing and DMing. They both have... different qualities. But since I enjoy creating stories so much, I find I DM more than PC.
