And in other bizarre news, I almost had a Black Orc score when we recieved with 4 players vs 11.

That Black Orc was on drugs or something I swear. He threw a block against 4 guys then dodged and sprinted twice, drugs I say, drugs.

EDIT: Hey I found something wrong with my online roster. After my game against Rachel I retired #2 Thragt making him a Assistant Coach and hired a new #2 named Fido. Can you make that change to my roster please? Also I had to pay 10,000 for spiraling expenses so I should only have 10,000 in my treasury, if you could also make that happen I would be much appreciative.

I renamed your #2 to Fido then I just bought an assistant with the Cash and named him Thragt. Everything look good now?

I'm in the process now of changing TR into TV. Right now the ( XXX ) next to your team represents the TV of your team without skills figured in. I'll be adding those soon, but it's late and I want to go to bed.

EDIT: Oh yeah, so in the new TV, your injured players aren't counted. Right now your Treasury is, but soon it'll only count if it's over 100k, and then only what's over 100k. Which brings up an interesting question.

Let's say I have 100K after a match. I put it in the bank. I find out my next opponent is going to be Matt and I really want to sock it to him so I want to spend that 100K on inducements. First, can I? Since I said it was in the Bank instead of the Treasury, is it available for me to spend on inducements? Or new players for that matter? Second, if it is available for inducements, does it count toward my TV? I'd say that's an easy yes, but I was curious.

I guess what I'm suggesting is that we have a solid rule about Bank/Treasury before and after a game. I think it'd be unfair to say that you have to decide how much money you have available for inducements before you even know who you'll be playing next. But I also see problems with allowing players to buy inducements from the bank. It's late, maybe I'll try to explain later.

I think there needs to be a solid rule that people need to decide what money is in the treaury/bank at the end of the game and they need to stick with that. As for using bank money on inducements that is clearly stated in the rules that you can't(to compensate for not applying it to your TV). I have been playing consistantly by deciding what to put in my treasuring and what into the bank and have not had any trouble keeping them seperate, I strongly think that if someone wants to use their cash to buy inducements then they need to have their money in the treasury(which is going to start happening to me soon as I want to use some of the magic item cards).

Yeah, you must decide at the end of a match how much you want to potentially use for the next game (treasury) and it does count against your team value.
The way we can combat this is by posting the next weeks pairings sooner!
This won't be a problem until someone drops out of the league. I can post the next weeks games here and make them on the website later today.

You should see a verify button when you're logged in as 'fe2mike'. The button is under the Update Info button near the top of the game.

And you may or may not have noticed but I have implemented TV instead of TR. If you click on a player it now shows his Value. The (XXX) next to a team's name is it's TV, not it's TR. And finally, from now on, whenever a game is entered, it will keep track of the team's TV instead of it's TR. Please check them to make sure and let me know if you see any errors.

The only issue will be with Bank vs. Treasury. Right now the algorithm simply adds whatever you have over $100,000 to the TV. I figure that should be okay for our little webpage. The amount of work it would take to add a Bank variable and a way to manage it between games is pretty emense compared to the usefulness of it.

I feel pretty good about where the webpage is "technically." It's updated to PBBL besides the Bank/Treasury. So, before I start trying to spruce up the look, please let me know of any errors or things I missed. Namely, watch out for these things:

* Things we've decided not to use: Ejections, CAT(ches), TR. Please let me know if these things pop up anywhere so I can modify the page not to show it.
* TV: Watch to make sure player values are calculated correctly. If the Skill Groups are off for a position, it won't be correct and I need to change it.
* Skills not matching the PBBL: Let me know if they don't match. It's not a big deal since I doubt anyone will use the website to check the rules of a skill, but it would still be nice.

For the rst of this year, No, as no-one else was able to use this to there advantage, next season I say why not.

Also the website looks great, but I'll keep hunting for errors.

I was about to validate a game then I thought I'd try and show you how to do it. I'm not sure you can, you may need to be a Sys Admin rather than just a League Admin, but we'll see.

Be sure to be logged in as fe2mike instead of mike. Go to the list of games (Click on SCHEDULE in the Navigation box) and find the one with you vs. the Squad. Click on 'submit' and it should go to the game and look like this:



See the verify button? If not, I guess you need to be an admin.
