I've mostly been collecting these guys because they look cool on my bookshelf (I'll never forgive myself for passing up the Troll Combat Mage), but lately I was wondering if anyone in the area plays the game at all.

I heard that the line didn't do particulaly well, but if anyone else has some I'd be willing to give playing a shot.

If you're into action figures at all, they're neat to have just on that level and they're going pretty cheap at Merlyns now I think.

Just picked up G-Dogg and Kross today, no such thing as having too many orks. 'Specially if they have akimbo heavy pistols. Twisted Evil

I didn't realize there was a seperate (from the RPG) game that went along with those. I'm gonna have to check that out.

Yeah, I haven't tried the game yet myself, but dang do those guys look nifty. Looks to be pretty similar to hero-clix if you've played that before, only with DUAL PISTOL WIELDING ORKS! Twisted Evil

The big drawback when the game was released was the feeling that the figures were "Barbie for Gamers." The notion of "accessorizing" your figure was somewhat new, but not new in a cool way. I knew some folks who actually played the game and enjoyed it, though. Like mentioned above, it was a knock-off of the Hero-Clix line of games.

Most people who enjoy the genre did what Tinman is doing; collectible figs for your display case at home. They do look cool, that's for sure. Very detailed.
