Merlyn's is hosting the Scars of Mirrodin Games Day on Sunday, October 31st! Sign ups will begin at 10:00, and the entry fee will be $3. The tournament will begin at 11:00, and will be Standard Constructed format, with a cut to top four or top eight, depending on attendance. Each player will receive an extended art Memnite card, and the top eight will receive an extended art Tempered Steel.

The Scars Games Day introduces the option to "affiliate" your deck with one of the storyline factions in order to potentially win exclusive preview cards from Mirrodin Besieged. The top two finishers affiliated with the Mirran faction will receive a Peace Strider card, while the top two Phyrexian finishers win a Pierce Strider.

To affiliate your deck, you must have at least ten cards with the watermark from your chosen faction in your main deck, and no cards with the opposing watermark in your main deck or sideboard.
