We've just received word from our distributors that Merlyn's is slated to host 'Ard Boyz preliminaries for 40k again this year.

Signups will be available on May 9th. We will need the name, phone number and e-mail address of each player. Space will be limited, but we will be taking signups for alternates if we reach our limit.

Our tournament will be on Sunday, May 16th. The store will be open at 9:00 for registration, and games will begin at 10:00. Rounds will be 2 1/2 hours long, so plan to stay the whole day. We will break for lunch after the first round.

The rough schedule for the day will be :
9:00- 9:45- Registration
10:00-12:30- Round 1
12:30-1:15- Lunch
1:30-4:00- Round 2
4:15-6:45- Round 3
6:45-7:00- Final Standings and Prizes

isn't ard boyz usually free?

It usually is, but we've decided this year to supplement the GWS prizes with our normal prize plan: $5 per person. This will allow us to pay out deeper into the player pool.

Exactly. A little compensation for the players who just miss the invitations.

After speaking with our GW rep, we will be unable to supplement the prize pool. The bad news here is that only the top three players will receive prizes, the good news is that entry will be free.

well, that's ok. at least the regional will be close by.
