Game Faire 2004: 12 days of gaming.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS!!!

WHERE:

Here at Merlyn's, at W 19 Main in Spokane. Click HERE for a map, or phone us at 509-624-0957 for directions.

WHEN:

Same times every weekend: Fridays 10am-11pm Saturdays 9am-11pm Sundays 9am-11pm

March 26/27/28: Role-playing games weekend. All RPGs, all the time. D&D, L5R, Rifts and more.

April 2/3/4: Miniature games weekend. Miniature warfare in the past and future. Warhammer, War Machine, WH40K.

April 9/10/11: Boardgames weekend. Settlers of Catan, Risk, Blood Bowl, Axis & Allies and more.

April 16/17/18: CCG weekend. Duel Masters, Magic, L5R, Warcry, Warlord, TMNT.

VOLUNTEERING: Easy as pie. Click HERE to download a handy .doc file of the volunteer sheet. All volunteers and scenarios are subject to approval - especially as space is finite, we're looking for the best of the best. Fill it out and bring it on in. Guidelines for games are pretty specific - it needs to be an appropriate type of game for the weekend (so no WH40K on RPG night) and it needs to be a game that is in print somewhere on the globe. Bunnies and Burrows is cute and all, but players trying to get their own copy are in for a disappointment. (Of course, if you really, really wanna run B&B then our game room is, in fact, open for that the rest of the year - so come by and do it then ^_^) We're most interested in looking for GMs for D&D 3.5, Rifts, Call of Cthulhu, Marvel, Hackmaster, Heavy Gear, and the plethora of d20 games like Modern, Conan, Gamma World, Spycraft, Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) and so on.

PARKING: So where do I park, you ask? Well, downtown is always a challenge, but there are some secrets, especially the 10-hour meters on Division and Browne, and along Sprague between Bernard and Division. Of course, if you're going to be here all day long, the numerous Diamond lots downtown can usually set you up for around $5 for the whole day if you're in before 10 or so.

DIRECTIONS: Here at Merlyn's, at W 19 Main in Spokane. Click HERE for a map, or phone us at 509-624-0957 for directions.

WHERE IS FOOD? All over the place - Chili's is right next door, The Rocket is across the street, Third Avenue has every possible fast-food franchise, there's everything from pizza to sushi within a 5-minute walk. Plus, we have pop and tooth-decay-laden candy for yah!

SIGNING UP FOR GAMES:
Fairly easy and straightforward. As each GM turns in a game proposal and it's accepted, a signup sheet will be added to a master binder of all events. You'll be able to look at the game descriptions online, above under the Schedule of Events header, and, as games get full, it will be noted on the site.

WHAT TO BRING: Your pencils, dice and characters, rulebooks, miniatures, tape-measures and so on - all your gaming stuff. Just check the scenarios you've signed up for for any additional details.

WHAT NOT TO BRING: Alcohol, bad attitudes, stinky laundry in need of washing, friends with restraining orders, ewoks, weapons (even with a costume - though why are you wearing a costume?) any type of dalek.

AUCTION: We're thinking about doing the used game auction in late April or early May. Any suggestions?
