THE NEW & IMPROVED BLOOD BOWL LEAGUE

Uriel, Angel of Intentional Fouling

Oi! Wanker!!! It's the Drive for da Spokane Slaughtercup III! (Eh, well, maybe not...)

The League is ON! Head down to Merlyn's pronto, and play all the games you want, against whomever you want!!

1: Any rules used or available through the MBBL (www.blood-bowl.net) are acceptable, providing that you can come to a relatively peaceeful understanding of the rules with your opponent. Any questions about rules can be forwarded to Commissioner Berquam or Commisioner Lindner (thats "Little" Mike and "Tha Freekin' New Guy" Matt for those of you who don't know us.)

2: Teams can be built from any presented by the MBBL on www.blood-bowl.net. Please build your teams from scratch unless you get the OK from a Commissioner. Click here for team list.

3: All figures must have some sort of numbering system visible on them.

5: Figure identifiability. While the Commissioner isn't gonna insist you use all official GW minis, make SURE that the figures on your team are identifiable as to what they are. So linemen should all be basically the same sort of figure, blitzers should be visibly different (or perhaps be a different color base if similar in appearance to the linemen), etc. And AVOID at ALL COSTS using stand-ins of one player type for another. As in "Gee, that catcher figure is actually a blitzer"

6: The league has already begun. Come on down and strike up a game. If you want to know what days people will be in to play, contact either league Commissioner.

7: We may be holding store tournaments. Stay tuned for details.

8: And remember, above all, that you only have to play when you want to, against whomever you want to. Just have fun. Once again, any and all questions may be directed to the league Commissioners.

And, in case you missed it, here are the results of last league's playoff match.

Our Roving Reporter on the Slaughtercup Final!

What a weird match. A small crowd of fanatical fans of these two teams showed up to watch the game. The dwarves were to recieve the kick off but the fans decided they would start the game with a 6 turn riot. With the two turns remaining in the first half the Sonics were able to get the ball and score. Second half started with an Elf score. So the Dwarves down by two in the middle of the half start their drive for a TD. The drive not only ended in a score but also the death of two Sonic Scorers. Scotty too Hotty (Wardancer) and Jiz Blaster (Catcher) was killed by Dwailn (Troll Slayer). Although the outcome was rather predictable after the riot, the game was none the less exciting.
